Amazing features in a dense brick
This is my 2nd portable generator. My old one is basically designed to charge with an AC adapter, not solar. My 45 watt solar panel is too puny to charge it. The AllPowers unit has a power meter that displays the charge or drain current. And it charges just fine with my 45 watt panel. I have both Android and iOS phones and was surprised that both work great with the built in wireless charger. To test the All Powers out with some current drain, I completely emptied a Ryobi 40V power tool battery then put it in its charger and plugged it into the AC port of the All Powers to charge.
WHILE we charge an external battery with the AllPowers via its AC rectifier, I plugged in my 100W solar panel to charge at the same time. (My old generator can’t charge and discharge at the same time.). After a couple of hours the Ryobi battery was 100% and the AllPowers dropped slightly. It regained full charge a couple hours later. The power meter is really useful! Essential really.

Compact and powerful
We used this to tailgate a sport event and will use it more often this coming summer for camping. And It has huge power and i was able to use it for a long time. It is small, compact yet powerful enough to use and charge ac and dc devices. Its a cool idea to use it outdoors when you watch movies in a projector screen, gone are the days when you can not use electronics when we camp when i started to have this.
Even though, I am not an engineer to discuss technical aspects of this product but for a regular person like me, this is something that fascinates me.
